Job summary

Sodexo Group in Aldershot is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals, manage dietary requirements, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for clients and customers.

With shift patterns including early, middle and late shifts and a 40-hour week at £13.21 per hour, you will work 5 days out of 7 in a fast-paced environment, upholding hygiene standards and teamwork to deliver excellent service every day.

Qualifications

• High standards and strict hygiene/safety practices.
• Positive team player contributing to a supportive environment.
• Clear communication with customers, clients and colleagues.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate held.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Professional, reliable and organised approach.
• NVQ Level 2 Chef or equivalent culinary qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve delicious, high-quality meals on time to Sodexo standards.
• Meet dietary requirements and allergens with accuracy.
• Support hospitality services from prep to service and clean-down.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and respond to incidents.
• Participate in meetings, training and development opportunities.
