Job summary

Sodexo in Aldershot is seeking a Chef to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare high-quality meals, serve them on time, and ensure compliance with client and Sodexo standards.

You will handle dietary requirements, maintain hygiene, and support all hospitality services. The role offers opportunities for training and career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• NVQ Level 2 Chef qualification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve delicious, high-quality meals and refreshments on time, ensuring standards are met.
• Pay attention to special dietary requirements and allergens.
• Support the smooth running of hospitality services from prep to service and clean-down.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment and respond to incidents.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to build skills.

• Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:30
• Middle Shift: 08:00 - 16:30
• Late Shift: 10:00 - 18:30
• £13.21 per hour

What you'll do:

• Prepare and serve delicious, high-quality meals and refreshments on time, ensuring every dish meets Sodexo's standards and exceeds client and customer expectations.
• Take pride in delivering food to a consistently high standard, while paying close attention to special dietary requirements and allergens, including nut, dairy and wheat allergies.
• Support the smooth running of all hospitality services, from food preparation and service through to clear-down, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for every customer.
• Work as part of the wider team to maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment, responding quickly and appropriately to any incidents, including accidents, fire, food safety concerns, loss or damage.
• Get involved in team meetings, training and development opportunities to build your skills and continue delivering an excellent service.
