Job Description

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Chef de Rang to join Mauro Colagreco’s Restaurants at Raffles London at The OWO.

Reporting to the Head Waiter, you will oversee the daily service, ensuring outstanding guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Promoting positive team relations through open communication, trust, mutual respect, and ongoing feedback.
  2. Communicating effectively, adhering to legal responsibilities and company policies.
  3. Having thorough knowledge of the menu and all products.
  4. Delivering food orders swiftly and accurately from kitchen to table.
  5. Acting as a liaison between Front and Back of House staff.
  6. Assisting with table setting, including fetching and placing tableware, utensils, and napkins.
  7. Explaining dishes to guests in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
  8. Checking in with guests, taking additional orders, and refilling water as needed.
  9. Serving food and removing used dishes and utensils.
  10. Ensuring food safety standards are met during service.
  11. Communicating guest feedback or requests to the restaurant team.
  12. Understanding and conveying the restaurant’s concept through service.
  13. Practicing sustainable waste management and purchasing daily.
  14. Performing other duties as assigned, including working in different departments or restaurants.
