Job summary

The Red Lion in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen as we reopen after refurbishment in late October 2026. You will work under the Head Chef and contribute to delivering high-quality dishes in a vibrant environment.

We look for someone with a genuine passion for food, experience in a busy kitchen, a positive, reliable attitude, and the ability to lead and support teammates. This is a great step in a growing pub kitchen.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership.
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs
• To complete all training in a timely manner
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them
• Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities

With an exciting full refurbishment underway and our reopening planned for late October 2026, we're getting ready for a brilliant new chapter at The Red Lion - and we're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join us on the journey.
