Job summary

Contract Options is seeking experienced Chef de Partie to join our temporary catering team across Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bletchley. You will support busy sites, deliver high-quality food and work across kitchen sections.

These are temporary, ad-hoc shifts with a minimum 8-hour shift. You must have professional kitchen experience at Chef de Partie level, strong knowledge of food hygiene, and the right to work in the UK in order to join our network.

Temporary Chef de Partie - Catering Staff

Locations: Milton Keynes,

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

Minimum Shift: 8 hours

Pay: Up to £24.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Chef de Parties to join our temporary catering team, working across a number of busy sites in Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bletchley.

These are temporary, ad-hoc positions, with shifts offered according to operational requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs looking for flexibility, additional hours, or the chance to gain experience within busy, high-volume catering environments.

Please note: You will be employed directly by our agency and placed into temporary assignments with one of our clients. The client's name will remain confidential throughout the recruitment process.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday (Day Rate): £16.00 per hour
• Saturday & Night Rate: £21.28 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holiday Rate: £24.00 per hour

Shift Information

• Minimum shift length: 8 hours
• Temporary and ad-hoc shifts available according to business requirements
• Early, late and night shifts may be available
• Some sites operate on a 24-hour rotation
• Weekend and Bank Holiday work may be available

About the Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen operation and delivering high-quality food in a busy catering environment.

Depending on the site and shift, your duties may include:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard
• Working across different sections of the kitchen
• Following menus, recipes and portion-control guidelines
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Following all health & safety and food safety procedures
• Working efficiently as part of a wider catering team
• Supporting the wider kitchen operation during busy service periods
• Adapting to different kitchen environments and shift patterns

• Are confident working in a busy kitchen environment
• Have good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety

• Can adapt quickly to different working environments
• Are flexible and available to work on a temporary/ad-hoc basis
• Have the right to work in the UK
