Job summary

Craft Locals - Rose & Crown in Rickmansworth is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The role offers £13.50–£14.50 per hour, equivalent to £30,900–£33,200 per year, plus a share of card tips.

You’ll run your own section, cook fresh seasonal dishes to spec, and collaborate with the Sous and Head Chef on new ideas. The pub is undergoing renovations and aims to open March 2026, with a warm, community-focused atmosphere and tasty, well-kept food.

Qualifications

• CDP experience in a fresh-food kitchen or strong Commis ready to step up.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ambitious to progress towards more senior chef roles.

Responsibilities

• Run your own section with consistency and pride.
• Prepare fresh, seasonal dishes to spec and high standards.
• Work closely with the Sous and Head Chef on new dishes and menus.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and compliant at all times.
• Support junior chefs and learn from senior team members.
