Avery Healthcare in Beaconsfield is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Chef De Partie to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering a nutritionally balanced, high-quality culinary service for residents at Beaconsfield Heights Care Home.

You will participate in meetings to discuss residents’ dietary requirements, prepare nutritious meals, assist with stock control, and help develop menus to meet residents' needs while working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

Hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent.
Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Have a minimum of 1-year catering experience.
Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality culinary services for residents.
Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead a culinary team delivering nutritionally balanced meals.
Take part in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss catering functions and dietary needs.
Prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard as directed by the Head Chef.
Assist with cost-effective stock control to minimise waste and ensure systems are in place.
Develop and regularly review the menu with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
