Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie at HMRC Croydon/Stratford.

Location: Croydon/Stratford
Rate of pay: £30,368 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, ranging from 6:00-16:00


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of deli items, salads, and hot and cold snacks, ensuring consistent quality, flavor, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and create seasonal or themed snack offerings, while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of new service styles and food concepts.
  • Support weekly and monthly stocktaking as required.
  • Help with the costing of dishes and menus, working to meet the target GP for the site.
  • Understand and comply with CH&CO’s and statutory health, hygiene, safety, and quality standards, including COSHH and HACCP, ensuring all tasks are performed in line with these regulations.
  • Work closely with all team members on site to provide exceptional customer service.
