Job description

Chef de partie (m/f)

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation of all foods within the kitchen, ensuring it is to the highest of standards.

  • You will be quick, efficient and accurate, providing a prompt service delivery.
  • Following the clear directions of the Executive Chef, you will learn the importance of consistency and cost control.
  • You will receive and account for supplies and deliveries, follow correct hygienic food handling practices and follow the restaurant’s cleaning and waste disposal practices.
  • You will lead and support junior members of the team and produce own work in accordance with deadlines and quality guidelines.
Profile
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and excellent kitchen knowledge along with an understanding of food safety and hygiene for the environment you will work in.
  • You are likely to have relevant NVQ or professional qualifications although your technical skills and flexibility will be what sets you apart.
  • To be successful in this role you will bring experience as a Chef de Partie in a 5-star establishment and/or experience in a Michelin star or AA rosette restaurant.
  • You will be an immaculately presented individual who possesses informal yet impeccable customer service skills.
