Job summary
Nottingham Forest Football Club is seeking a First Team Catering professional to join The Nigel Doughty Academy, Nottingham. You will work alongside our Chefs to manage daily menu preparation, ensure food quality, consistency and freshness, and support the Head Performance Chef.
The role requires City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2 Catering or NVQ Level 2, Level 2 Food Safety Award, and at least four years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2 catering or NVQ Level 2.
- Level 2 Food Safety Award.
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience.
- COSHH awareness and chemical safety.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality nutritious dishes within the given specification.
- Assisting the Head Performance Chef in creating menu items.
- Preparing carbohydrates, vegetables, vegetarian options and proteins (meat and fish).
- Assisting with the management of health and safety and food hygiene practices.
- Managing and training any Commis Chefs.
- Monitoring portion and waste control.
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards.
