Job summary

KSB Recruitment is recruiting a Chef de Partie for a lakeside hotel and traditional Scottish restaurant near Stirling. The role offers a permanent, full-time position, a 45-hour week, and a salary of £30,000–£34,000 per year plus tronc, with live-in accommodation available.

You will work alongside an experienced Head Chef, delivering high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal Scottish produce, while maintaining food safety standards and supporting the brigade to provide an outstanding dining

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up.
• Passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal produce.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive business.

Responsibilities

• Run your section efficiently during preparation and service.
• Prepare and present high-quality dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Maintain excellent food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation, waste control and kitchen organisation.
• Work collaboratively with the brigade to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
