Job summary

Kellan Group is recruiting for a Chef de Partie at a religious community in Mirfield. This permanent post offers 37.5 hours weekly in a small team, with straight shifts and sociable hours. You'll cook fresh, from-scratch dishes and support menu planning in a busy catering operation.

Salary is £28,275 per year (£14.50/hour). The role requires strong kitchen experience and good hygiene standards, with the expectation of working five days over seven and providing coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Cook a comprehensive range of traditional and contemporary dishes, including cakes, pastries and desserts.
• Assist with menu planning and recipe costing.
• Oversee the daily running of the kitchen.
• Lead the team in the absence of the Catering Manager and Head Chef.
• Work to deadlines and maintain quality in a fresh, scratch cooking environment.
