Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in the UK. You will be happy running a section, maintaining high standards, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operation.

We value leaders with a passion for fresh, high-quality dining and a positive, team-oriented approach. The role offers a clear development pathway to Head Chef and access to our support programs across multiple pubs in Southern England.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership.
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs.
• To complete all training in a timely manner.
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fir, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them.
• Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements.
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities.
