Job summary

Fine Dining Restaurant with Rooms in West Sussex is hiring a Chef de Partie to join a small, high-calibre kitchen. You will take ownership of your section, delivering tasting menus and à la carte dishes with seasonal produce, supported by a Michelin-starred chef and a five-strong brigade.

You’ll work Wednesday to Sunday with Mondays and Tuesdays off, and enjoy a package up to £37,000 including gratuities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a quality-driven kitchen and progress

Qualifications

Currently working as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
Experience in a quality fresh-food restaurant, ideally within Michelin-starred, 3 Rosette or premium fine dining kitchens.
Passionate about modern British cuisine, seasonal ingredients and quality produce.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your section.
Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes for tasting menus and à la carte service.
Maintain excellent standards of flavour, presentation and consistency.
Work with seasonal ingredients and the finest available produce.
Support the Head Chef and wider brigade with menu development and new ideas.
Ensure mise en place is organised and service runs smoothly.
Maintain strong food hygiene, allergen awareness and kitchen standards.
Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising food waste.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment.
Take an active interest in learning, developing and progressing as the business grows.
