Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited in Farnham Common is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our luxury care home kitchen. You’ll work under the Head Chef to produce nutritious, restaurant-quality meals for residents and manage a kitchen section with focus on portion control and waste minimisation.

Experience in catering, NVQ Level 2 or QCF in food & hygiene, and knowledge of health and safety are advantageous. Full-time day shifts and benefits available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or QCF in food & hygiene or catering services.
• Experience in a kitchen role with health and safety knowledge.
• Willingness to work full-time day shifts.
• Ability to tailor menus to dietary requirements (including dementia dining).

Responsibilities

• Work under Head Chef to create and produce nutritious menus.
• Oversee one area of the kitchen and ensure proper portion control.
• Minimise waste and review menus with Head/Sous Chef.
• Ensure dietary requirements are met for residents.
