Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Chef de Partie at our Farnham Common care home to join a high‑quality kitchen team, delivering nutritious, restaurant‑grade meals for residents. You will work under the Head Chef to manage a section, uphold portion control and minimise waste.

With a year’s catering experience and an NVQ Level 2 or QCF in food & safety/hygiene, you will bring health and safety awareness and a passion for dining excellence, including dementia-friendly options and menu

Responsibilities

• Work under the Head Chef to create and produce nutritious, restaurant-quality meals.
• Oversee one area of the kitchen, ensuring portion control and waste minimisation.
• Develop awareness of dietary requirements including dementia dining.
• Regularly review and develop the menu with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Job Introduction

Develop your passion for food within a highly equipped kitchen, in-house bistro and fine dining restaurant, as part of our caring and supportive team, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Chef de Partie at our luxury care and nursing home in Farnham Common.

Your Role at Signature

As Chef de Partie, you’ll work under the Head Chef to create and produce a nutritious menu of restaurant quality food for our residents. You’ll oversee one area of the kitchen to prepare meals to the highest standard, ensure proper portion control and minimise waste.

You’ll develop an awareness of special dietary requirements, including the dementia dining experience, to meet these needs.

You’ll also use your creativity and passion to help the Head Chef and Sous Chef to regularly review and develop the menu.
