Job summary

Crowne Plaza in Belfast is seeking a Chef De Partie to lead their section and support the Head Chef in delivering high standards of food production and service. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance and supporting a seamless operation across service periods.

The right candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, strong teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining the highest culinary standards in line with our brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• NVQ level 2 in Food Preparation or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of their section.
• Good understanding of HACCP/COSHH.
• General cost and quality control for both incoming and outgoing goods.
• Ensure temperature readings are taken daily and recorded.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and used correctly.
• Keep cleaning schedules and hygiene checks up to date.
• Ensure food served meets menu specifications.
