Job summary

Hull City Training Ground in Cottingham, East Yorkshire, seeks a Chef De Partie to fuel elite athletes with high-performance meals. This full-time role works with the performance chef, managing daily kitchen operations, menu ideas and a rigorous daily schedule.

Ideal candidates bring 5 years kitchen experience, 3 years in fresh-food restaurants, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Weekend availability is required with permanent, full-time status.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience: 5 years (preferred).
• Fresh Food Restaurant: 3 years (preferred).
• Cooking: 5 years (preferred).
• Relocating or commuting before starting work (required).
• Full training will be given to explain principles of the food offered on certain days.

Responsibilities

• Serve high performance food to fuel players and staff.
• Work with performance chef and kitchen team to run daily operations.
• Organise deliveries, prepping, cooking and serving breakfast, lunch and snacks.
• Follow daily clean down schedule to maintain 5 rating (EHO).
• Contribute to menu development and ideas; exceed players' expectations.
• Manage time and organisation within a tight training schedule.
• Interact with players and staff; be friendly and approachable.
