Experience as CDP or strong Commis Chef, Level 2 Food Hygiene, and a passion for fresh ingredients are preferred. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and career progression in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready for next step.
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2+ and formal culinary training/NVQ advantageous.
• Strong knife skills and core culinary techniques; able to handle high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Section management: prepare, cook, and present dishes to standard while running a section.
• Ensure taste, presentation, and portion control meet high standards.
• Maintain food safety, HACCP compliance, and stock rotation; assist with wastage control.
• Support junior kitchen staff and coordinate with Head/Sous Chef for smooth operations.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal menu developments and specials.
