Job summary

Lodestone House, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join the catering team at Tonbridge School. You will work within a professional kitchen to deliver high-quality food and service to pupils, staff and guests, alongside an experienced team.

We offer opportunities for development, training and progression within the wider Compass Group, with a focus on fresh food, quality and consistent standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie in professional kitchens.
• Strong presentation of dishes and fresh ingredients.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Running your section to a consistently high standard.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh food to required quality, presentation and portion specifications.
• Supporting development of menus and new food ideas.
• Assisting with the training and development of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
• Ensuring food is stored correctly and minimising food waste.
• Maintaining cleanliness across the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Following all Health & Safety and allergen procedures.
