The Wordsworth Inn in Grasmere is recruiting a Chef de Partie to play a pivotal role in a substantial, food-led operation with 55 bedrooms and multiple covers. You will be responsible for your section, ensuring presentation and quality, while upholding food safety and working closely with colleagues across the kitchen and front-of-house.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen.
• Strong communication, time-keeping and organizational skills.
• A passion for food and high standards of presentation.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for your section, delivering exceptional food service from start to finish.
• Oversee food safety, storage, and compliance with legislation and policy.
• Collaborate with kitchen, front-of-house and management teams to maintain high standards.
• Prepare food items in a timely manner and keep a clean working station.
