Job summary

Avery Healthcare in Beaconsfield is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering a nutritionally balanced, high-quality culinary service for residents. You will participate in meetings with residents and departments, prepare nutritious foods, help manage stock to minimise waste, and collaborate on menu development.

The ideal candidate holds a catering qualification (City & Guilds 706/1/706/2 or NVQ or equivalent) and a Basic Food Hygiene

Qualifications

• Hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent.
• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Have a minimum of 1-year catering experience.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality culinary services.

Responsibilities

• Taking part in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss catering functions and dietary needs.
• Preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard as directed by the Head Chef.
• Supporting cost-effective stock control systems to minimise waste.
• Working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu regularly.
