Qualifications

Job description

This Wonderful Hotel with a 2AA Rosette award-winning Restaurant is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade.

About the Role

The Exec Chef and his team have strong relationships with local farmers and fishermen to ensure the menus are fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced. The menu features traditional favorites alongside a range of contemporary dishes on an ever-changing seasonal menu.

Our Client seeks an experienced Chef de Partie who can maintain and surpass the existing 2AA Rosettes.

Main Duties
  1. Follow daily procedures
  2. Plan the day-to-day running of kitchen sections
  3. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
  4. Conduct quality checks on stock, produce, and dishes
Candidate Requirements
  1. Experience in a 1AA Rosette establishment
  2. Passion and creative flair
  3. Excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests
  4. Ability to remain calm and focused during busy services
  5. Experience leading a section and being a strong team player
  6. Bring fresh ideas and experience

Candidate Criteria

Applicants should have a stable CV with excellent references and experience in handling fresh produce. Must possess NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent, along with a hygiene certificate.

Applicants must be either working in or residing in the UK, with valid right to work, UK/EU citizenship, ILR/PR status, or a valid work permit/visa with at least 2 years remaining.
