Job summary

Upham Inns in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section and uphold high standards, working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver quality, freshly prepared dishes.

Responsibilities

• Run a kitchen section and maintain high standards at all times.
• Assist Head Chef / Sous Chef for smooth kitchen running.
• Set an example and guide junior chefs.
• Complete all training on time.
• Comply with food safety, health and safety, licensing and employment law.
• Ensure you follow food safety laws and requirements.
• Work with a positive, approachable manner and strong teamwork.

Chef de Partie Requirements:

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK

Chef de Partie Responsibilities:

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs
• To complete all training in a timely manner
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fir, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them
• Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities
