Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited invites a Chef de Partie to join a luxury care and nursing home in Ascot. You will work under the Head Chef to create nutritious, restaurant-quality meals for residents, overseeing a kitchen area with focus on portions and waste control.

You will learn and apply dietary requirements including dementia dining, while contributing to regular menu reviews with the Head Chef and Sous Chef. The role is full-time with day shifts.»

Qualifications

• A year's experience in catering is a big advantage.
• NVQ Level 2 or QCF equivalent in food & hygiene or catering services.
• Working knowledge of health & safety and awareness of waste disposal & infection control.

Job description

Develop your passion for food within a highly equipped kitchen, in-house bistro and fine dining restaurant, as part of our caring and supportive team, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Chef de Partie at our luxury care and nursing home in Ascot.

What you will do

As Chef de Partie, you’ll work under the Head Chef to create and produce a nutritious menu of restaurant quality food for our residents. You’ll oversee one area of the kitchen to prepare meals to the highest standard, ensure proper portion control and minimise waste.

You’ll develop an awareness of special dietary requirements, including the dementia dining experience, to meet these needs.

You’ll also use your creativity and passion to help the Head Chef and Sous Chef to regularly review and develop the menu.

• Full time Day shifts (37.5 hours per week)
