Job summary

The Prae Wood Arms in St Albans is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a vibrant kitchen team within The Brunning and Price family. You will help craft exquisite dishes, work across all sections of the kitchen and support the head chef in a fast-paced environment.

We offer up to £31,000 base plus tronc, paid overtime, and generous tips. This role provides opportunities for development within a busy pub group and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering as a chef or line cook.
• Experience as Chef de Partie in a restaurant or gastro pub is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work across all kitchen areas to support the head and sous chefs.
• Prepare and plate dishes in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

About You...

You may have experience in catering as a chef, line cook, breakfast chef, section chef or chef de partie in a restaurant, gastro pub or the wider hospitality sector. As our chef de partie you'll be working across all areas of the kitchen, supporting our sous chefs and head chef.
