• Support the Head Chef in delivering culinary and food safety standards, including client tastings, chef briefings, food safety compliance, and event delivery.
• Be highly organized in kitchen management on a day-to-day basis. The role is mainly kitchen-based but may require some office work.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current food trends and bring innovation to the food offers in the event business.
• Support and work with the F&B Manager and restaurant managers to build positive relationships within the business.
• Have demonstrable experience in a high-volume environment, such as major events or banqueting operations.
• Have a fine dining background, gained in hotels, restaurants, or contract catering.
• Possess a passionate interest in the catering industry.
• Be a competent communicator with the ability to present to colleagues, peers, and clients.
• Be organized with excellent planning skills.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team of chefs.
