Job summary

Six by Nico in Leeds is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen at 9 East Parade, Leeds. Our unique concept means menus change regularly, offering continual development of skills across cooking styles and a vibrant, fast-paced team environment.

You will run a section during service, take direction from Head Chef and Sous Chefs, and uphold high standards of food safety while delivering first-class service to guests.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a Chef de Partie role with proven skills in the kitchen.
• Knowledge of modern food preparation techniques and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Head Chef & Sous Chefs while assisting with the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring high level of food safety is maintained.
• Be responsible for running a section during the day to day service; sections will alternate for your personal development.
• Have a good knowledge & understanding on food, modern food preparation techniques and food safety.
• Be committed to delivering first class service.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask.
• Have good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
