Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
Good knowledge of modern cooking techniques.
Ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Assist Head Chef and Sous Chefs with daily kitchen operations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie who is an enthusiastic and driven individual, to join the team at Six by Nico.

The role

Due to our unique concept, we change menus on a regular basis which will give you the opportunity for continual development of your skills and knowledge with different cooking styles.

As a Chef de Partie at Six by Nico, you will:

Be able to take direction from the Head Chef & Sous Chefs while assisting with the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring high level of food safety is maintained
Be responsible for running a section during the day to day service; sections will alternate for your personal development
Have a good knowledge & understanding on food, modern food preparation techniques and food safety.
Be committed to delivering first class service
Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask
Have good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
