Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Chef de Partie for a contract caterer in a school in Northamptonshire. The CDP will support the head chef, prepare school meals for around 350 pupils and help maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

The role offers 40 hours per week, a 52-week contract, and a salary of £32,000 per annum. Shift pattern includes 07:00-15:00 and 11:00-19:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CDP or commis chef.
• NVQ Level 1 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality & Food Hygiene Level 2.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Understand food safety standards and best practices.
• Have the right attitude to learn & progress skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooking from fresh produce.
• Support the head chef and team for smooth & speedy service.
• Work on your own initiative when required.
• Participate in menu tastings and special events.
• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.

Job Description

We are looking for Chef de Partie to join a team in Brackley area. As a CDP you will support the head chef and rest of the team in preparing school meals for ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will be helping to cater for 350 pupils (breakfast / lunch / dinner).

Salary: £32,000 per annum, 40hours per week, 52 weeks per annum

Hours: AM shifts 07:00-15:00 and PM shifts 11:00-19:00, predominantly Monday to Friday
