Join us for the opening of our iconic 5-star hotel at 100 Princes Street, Edinburgh, Scotland!

We are seeking a Chef de Partie. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head Chef.

Working pattern: Shift work, Monday to Sunday, 5 days per week with 2 days off. Weekly rotas are provided.

Ideal candidates will have over 2 years of experience in a culinary environment, either as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef. You should be skilled in overseeing specific kitchen sections and committed to maintaining high culinary standards and enhancing the dining experience.

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to plan menus and food preparation
  • Preparing food according to standard recipes
  • Maintaining portion control and minimizing waste
  • Monitoring stock levels within the culinary department
  • Ensuring quality and quantity are appropriate to hotel occupancy
  • Supervising kitchen staff including Chefs and Kitchen Porters
  • Training team members to meet culinary standards and inspire creativity
