Known for its opulence and theatre, the hotel is a stylish reworking of a historic A-listed mansion in Edinburgh, Scotland by James Thomson. Prestonfield combines luxury and charm, making it a prime location for both guests and employees looking for a unique and upscale experience.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Edinburgh for a Chef De Partie. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for supporting the head chef and sous chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, managing specific sections of the kitchen, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and mentoring junior kitchen staff. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that food is presented to the highest standards and maintaining stock control.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of kitchen hygiene standards
