Qualifications

Chef De Partie

The Bell Inn is located on the outskirts of Stow-on-the-Wold, a charming town in the Cotswolds. Our historic inn, approximately 350 years old, offers great food and premium service while preserving its ancient character.

We have fourteen beautifully decorated en suite bedrooms and a rare front garden/terrace, ideal for relaxing in summer or warming up by the log burner in winter.

What we look for in a Chef de Partie:

We seek an experienced Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef ready for the next step, passionate about producing quality, fresh food in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will:

  • Champion excellent service through quality food.
  • Be passionate about delivering fantastic dishes consistently.
  • Be an active, hands-on Chef de Partie or Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Show willingness to learn new skills and be a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes and specials.
  • Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills to maintain effective control over GP and labour.
  • Proactively drive sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
