Job summary

The Meadow Lark in Trumpington near Cambridge is opening late 2026 and recruiting Chefs de Partie to join the kitchen team from day one, working with fresh ingredients under an experienced Head Chef.

We’re seeking confident chefs who can cover at least two sections, follow recipes, and bring 3–4 years of progression in a service setting with knife skills and classical techniques. Competitive hourly rate plus TRONC and a strong benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Have a passion and a proven track record in delivering great quality and fresh food.
• Able to work at least 2 sections as part of the kitchen team and follow recipes.
• 3-4 years experience or progression in a service setting with intermediate knife skills and working with classical cooking techniques.

We’re looking for talented Chefs de Partie to join the opening kitchen team at The Meadow Lark, following a major refurbishment of this exciting pub with rooms.

You’ll be joining from day one, working with fresh ingredients, a strong kitchen team and an experienced Head Chef to deliver great food in a busy, high-quality environment.
