Heartwood Collection's The Meadow Lark in Trumpington, near Cambridge, is opening late 2026 and is recruiting Breakfast Chefs de Partie to join day one.

You’ll work with fresh ingredients in a busy, high-quality kitchen under a Head Chef, with a strong team and supportive training through our Stepping Stones programme.

On-target earnings £14.75 - £15.25 * (Including TRONC)

The Meadow Lark, Trumpington – Opening Late 2026

Basic Rate up to £13.10 per hour PLUS TRONC

We’re looking for talented Breakfast Chefs de Partie to join the opening kitchen team at The Meadow Lark, following a major refurbishment of this exciting pub with rooms. You’ll be joining from day one, working with fresh ingredients, a strong kitchen team and an experienced Head Chef to deliver great food in a busy, high-quality environment. If you’re confident on section, passionate about fresh food and want to be part of a brand-new opening with Heartwood Collection, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Meadow Lark

Located in Trumpington, just south of Cambridge, The Meadow Lark will feature:

• An 84-cover bar
• An 84-cover restaurant
• An 80-cover terrace and landscaped garden
• 19 boutique bedrooms
