What’s involved?
As a Chef at an HMP site, you will need the ability to work within a prison kitchen environment, supporting food preparation and cooking while positively engaging with inmates. A proactive approach is essential.
You will work alongside other chefs and catering assistants, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring food levels, organizing storage, ordering supplies, planning meal menus, preparing and cooking dishes, and serving meals promptly.
Relevant qualifications and experience in food preparation and cooking are required, along with security clearance.
