Queenswood School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef de Partie for its main school kitchen, starting October 2026. The role is term-time only, 39 weeks, working 8 hours per day across five days per week.
You will join a busy team producing over 1000 high-quality meals daily and will contribute to a range of hospitality, including fine dining, while liaising with Catering Managers, external clients, staff and pupils. Safeguarding checks will be carried out on successful applicants.
Within the main school kitchen, we have a vacancy for the role of Chef de Partie which we are looking to fill from October 2026.
Contracted hours are for 39 weeks, term-time only, working 8 hours per day and 5 days out of 7.
Week 1 - 6.30am-3.00pm (Mon - Fri)
Week 2 - 11.30am - 9.00pm (Tues - Sat)
Week 3 - 12.00 noon - 8.30pm (Sun - Fri)
The appointed person will join our team of 7, producing over 1000 high quality meals per day, alongside a varied range of hospitality including fine dining. This position will suit a highly motivated chef. A keen eye for detail both in food preparation and service delivery is essential, along with the inter-personal skills to liaise with Catering Managers, external clients, school staff and pupils.

Salary will be in the region of £28,996 per annum, £16.25 per hour.
