Job summary

Osborne Appointments is recruiting a Chef de Partie for a busy Bedfordshire kitchen on a permanent contract. You’ll take responsibility for your own section in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and contribute to delivering high-quality dishes.

This role offers a 40-hour week, three-shift rota from 6am to 10pm, with evenings and weekends. The business is well-established, family-owned, and committed to developing its people, with meals on duty and staff discounts available.

Qualifications

• Experienced Chef de Partie or enthusiastic Commis Chef ready to step up.
• Fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure and be a team player.

Chef de Partie

Location: Bedfordshire

Salary: £31,948.80 Hours: 40 hours a week

Shifts: 3-shift rota, with shifts ranging between 6am and 10pm

We're recruiting for a Chef de Party to join a well-established hospitality business within Bedfordshire.

The role

Working within a busy kitchen environment, you'll be:

• Managing your own section and preparing food to a consistently high standard


• Supporting smooth and efficient service during busy periods


• Ensuring food hygiene and Health & Safety standards are maintained


• Supporting and supervising more junior members of the kitchen team


• Assisting with stock management and deliveries


• Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great customer experience

What we're looking for

We'd love to speak with experienced Chef de Parties, but we're equally open to an enthusiastic Commis Chef who is ready to take the next step.

You’ll be someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure and, most importantly, is a genuine team player.

Hours

You’ll work 40 hours per week across a mixture of early, mid and late shifts.

As this is hospitality, the rota will include some evenings and weekends, however the business is really conscious of work-life balance and works hard to ensure rotas are fair and days off are grouped together wherever possible.
