Haven in Filey, United Kingdom, is hiring a Chef to join our on-park JD Wetherspoon team. You’ll cook from our varied all-day menu, maintain high standards, and support the Kitchen Manager to deliver great meals.

We welcome applicants with previous chef experience, knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment. You’ll thrive in a busy environment, stay calm, and be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Chef role (e.g. Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or Sous Chef).
• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Enthusiastic team player with a love for food and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to company standards.
• Support your team and follow the lead of your Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver smooth service.
