Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Chef on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our team in Northolt, London. The role involves delivering high-quality meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner services and supporting hospitality events.

You will work to strict food-safety standards, train junior staff, manage stock and ensure accurate portion control. A strong team ethic and English language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Culinary Skills or equivalent.
• Confident chef with strong culinary skills.
• Good level of spoken English.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
• Delivering silver service-level catering for hospitality events and functions.
• Following recipe cards to ensure consistency, quality and portion control.
• Supporting and training new team members.
• Managing stock levels, placing food orders and keeping kitchen records.
• Monitoring food safety standards and completing due diligence paperwork.
• Assisting with deliveries and stock storage.
• Supporting daily and deep cleaning routines to maintain kitchen standards.
• Working collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team.

Job Description

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for aChef (12-month Fixed Term contract)to join our team in Northolt, London, HA4 6NG. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and passionate chef to join a busy catering operation delivering high-quality food services and hospitality events.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for producing high-quality meals across a variety of services while supporting the wider kitchen operation and maintaining exceptional food safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
• Delivering silver service-level catering for hospitality events and functions
• Following recipe cards to ensure consistency, quality, and portion control
• Supporting and training new team members
• Managing stock levels, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records
• Monitoring food safety standards and completing due diligence paperwork
• Assisting with deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly
• Supporting daily and deep cleaning routines to maintain high kitchen standards
• Working collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 in Culinary Skills (or equivalent)
• Confident chef with strong culinary skills
• Excellent team player with a collaborative approach
• Good level of spoken English
• Flexible, innovative, and passionate about food
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment

Additional Requirements

• Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
