Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a passionate Chef to join us as a Bank Chef, delivering hotel/restaurant standards with flexible, part-time hours in our care homes. You will support the Head Chef and tailor menus around residents, using fresh seasonal produce to create nutritious, flavoursome meals.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in absence to manage kitchen.
• Prepare high quality dishes using fresh produce.

• Complete regular stock checks and audits.
• Lead, motivate and develop kitchen team.

Are you a qualified chef looking to work with fresh seasonal food, with the opportunity to have more of a work life balance and make what you do matter?

This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. Working as a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them. NEED TO HAVE
