Overview

Location: Imphal Barracks, York, YO1 4DH
Pay rate: £14.60 per hour
Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends)
Shifts: Combination of early and late shifts. Early (06:00/07:00 -14:00/15:00) and Late (10:00/11:00 -18:00/19:00)

As a Chef, you'll play a key role in food preparation and production, ensuring high standards and minimal waste. You'll also support and mentor new team members, helping them learn kitchen procedures and standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Relevant culinary qualifications (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent)
• A confident team player with effective communication skills.
• Flexible and innovative approach to work.
• Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
• Must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
