Job summary

Loungers’ Zinco Lounge is hiring a Chef to join a busy kitchen team. You’ll cook to spec, support the Head Chef, and maintain high standards from prep to plate. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for career growth, with perks including staff meals and a strong team culture.

The position features up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, and 50% off food & drinks from day one, with additional benefits such as Xmas/Boxing Day off and staff events.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
• A passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas dishes, to all day Lounge breakfasts.
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety & allergen processes at all times.
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great experience.
