This is a role with high expectations, both professionally and personally.

You are expected to take ownership of your role without the need for constant direction. You will demonstrate initiative, accountability, and consistency in all aspects of your work.

You will actively contribute to the creative direction of the food, bringing ideas and development forward.

Your personal development is your responsibility; growth should come through your own drive, not by being pushed.

  • Deliver consistently high standards in food quality, presentation, and execution.
  • Support logistics, including event setup and unloading/loading where required.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain organisation, structure, and cleanliness across all working environments.
Business Expectations
  • Uphold and represent the standards and reputation of Paisley Flour Catering at all times.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and fully prepared for all shifts and events.
  • Take full accountability for your section, your team, and your output.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and leadership.
  • Show respect for ingredients, equipment, and the working environment.
  • Maintain strong food safety and hygiene standards without exception.
  • Be adaptable and solution-focused in fast-paced and changing environments.
  • Contribute to a positive, driven, and professional kitchen culture.
Work Conditions
  • Long and sometimes unpredictable shifts.
  • Increased demand during peak seasons and summer periods.
  • A varied working environment including kitchens, outdoor setups, and event sites.

This role requires resilience, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Please note there is a 3 month probation period, this may be extended up to 6 months if required. A formal review will take place at the end of the probation period.
