The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking experienced chefs for placements in primary, secondary and specialist schools across Greater London. These roles offer consistent daytime hours with no evenings or weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities include preparing fresh meals to school standards, working with the kitchen team, managing stock and waste, and upholding food safety and allergen controls. DBS checks and Level 2 Food Hygiene are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a chef in school, contract, healthcare or hospitality catering.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and allergen training.
• An enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
• Two professional references.
• A reliable, professional approach and a genuine passion for food.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook fresh, balanced meals in accordance with school food standards.
• Work collaboratively within the school kitchen team.
• Support stock control, ordering and waste management.
• Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with pupils and school staff.
