Job summary

Foley Grange Care Home in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, is seeking a Chef for a full-time role with dayshift hours from 07:30 to 16:30. You will prepare nutritious meals, ensure dietary requirements are met and maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Chef Contract

• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
• Hours are 07:30am - 16:30pm

No late evenings or split shifts, offering a consistent working pattern and genuine work life balance, alongside ongoing training and development opportunities.

Role Overview

As a Chef, you will deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals that are a key part of daily life. This is a role where your cooking has real impact, bringing comfort, routine and enjoyment while supporting overall wellbeing.

You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that residents look forward to each day.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day to day service. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers a strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in producing high quality food in a rewarding environment.
