Job summary

Chopstix, part of the QSRP group, is hiring a Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen in the UK. Working in open kitchen, you’ll prepare and cook to specification, bring energy and pace to every order, and become a Chopstix Food Expert through full training.

We value positivity, reliability and teamwork. No previous kitchen experience required as full training is provided; we offer flexible hours with late-night shifts and opportunities to grow with our international network.

• Passion for food and delivering quality consistently.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow Chopstix recipes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve food to Chopstix recipes and specifications.
• Deliver great-tasting food with consistency, quality, and speed.
• Work across all kitchen stations including food preparation and cooking.
• Ensure products are fresh, presented correctly, and ready for customers.
• Monitor stock levels and support deliveries, stock rotation and waste control.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment throughout your shift.
• Learn and develop wok skills through training programmes.

Full training is provided to help you become a Chopstix Wok Star Chef.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Up for late nights? We may trade until 4am on select nights - flexibility is key!
• Prepare, cook, and serve food to Chopstix recipes and specifications
• Deliver great-tasting food with consistency, quality, and speed
• Work across all kitchen stations, including food preparation, cooking, and service
• Ensure products are always fresh, presented correctly, and ready for our Flavour Cravers
• Monitor stock levels and support deliveries, stock rotation, and waste control
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment throughout your shift
• Support the team during busy trading periods to keep service flowing smoothly
• Learn and develop your wok skills through our training programmes
• Work closely with front-of-house colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Take pride in the quality of every dish leaving the kitchen
• Support opening, closing, and daily operational routines as required
