Job summary

Chopstix UK is hiring a Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen. Working in open kitchen, you'll prepare and cook to specification, bringing energy, pace and consistency to every order. You’ll become a Chopstix Food Expert, mastering our recipes and cooking techniques while maintaining high food-safety standards.

We provide full training and look for positive, reliable team players who thrive under pressure, enjoy learning new skills, and deliver a great guest experience. Late nights may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchen preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow Chopstix recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve food to Chopstix recipes and specifications.
• Deliver great-tasting food with consistency, quality, and speed.
• Work across all kitchen stations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
• Ensure products are always fresh, presented correctly, and ready for our customers.
• Monitor stock levels and support deliveries, stock rotation, and waste control.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Up for late nights? We may trade until 4am on select nights - flexibility is key!

Prepare, cook, and serve food to Chopstix recipes and specifications

Deliver great-tasting food with consistency, quality, and speed

Work across all kitchen stations, including food preparation, cooking, and service

Ensure products are always fresh, presented correctly, and ready for our Flavour Cravers

Monitor stock levels and support deliveries, stock rotation, and waste control

Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards at all times

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment throughout your shift

Support the team during busy trading periods to keep service flowing smoothly

Learn and develop your wok skills through our training programmes

Work closely with front-of-house colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience

Take pride in the quality of every dish leaving the kitchen

Support opening, closing, and daily operational routines as required
