Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Chef at Marne Barracks, Catterick, to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals to military personnel and visitors in a fast-paced environment.

You will join a dedicated catering team, preparing a variety of fresh dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting with stock control, ordering, and kitchen records. The role offers a permanent, full-time contract, 35 hours per week, with shifts between 06:00 and 19:00.

Qualifications

• Relevant culinary qualifications required (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent).
• Strong teamwork and flexibility in a busy kitchen.
• Commitment to high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; including fine dining for events.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
• Managing stock, placing orders, and keeping kitchen records up to date.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Assisting with kitchen deep cleans and due diligence paperwork.

• Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (UK residency for the past 3 years required).
