Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a dedicated Chef at Marne Barracks, Catterick. The role involves preparing nutritious meals for military personnel in a busy, rewarding setting.

The position is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) with shifts from early morning to early evening. A relevant culinary qualification is required, and successful applicants will pass security vetting and DBS checks; on-site parking and career progression are offered.

• Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (UK residency for the past 3 years).
• Flexible, creative, and passionate about great food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including special events.
• Work in a team and mentor new colleagues.
• Manage stock, place orders, and maintain kitchen records.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Assist with deep cleans and due diligence paperwork.

Location: Marne Barracks, Catterick, DL10 7NP
Pay rate: £13.05 per hour
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends and functions)
Shift pattern: Between 06:00 and 19:00, so your evenings are your own!
